How much do the Rollers cost?

£2.50 each. Then they are yours to keep and reuse as many times as you like.

What age is this appropriate for?

Any age! Although as the Rollers are 40mm in diameter, they are classified as a choking hazard for small children. Adult supervision should be provided to minors at all times.

When are you open?

The runs and vending machine are open 24 hours a day and accessible year-round.

How do I get there?

Public transport to the area is not great. The nearest bus stop is at Hillbury, which is a ten-minute walk away. To drive, follow directions to The Look Out Discovery Centre, Nine Mile Ride, Swinley Forest, Bracknell, Berkshire, RG12 7QW.

Is there parking?

Yes. The tariff at the time of writing (15 April 2024) is £3.40 for 4-hour stay or £6.80 for the whole day.

Are the runs accessible for wheelchair users?

The ground around The Look Out Discovery Centre is quite flat and there aren’t any steps. Most wheelchairs will be able to navigate between the runs.

What facilities are there at Swinley Forest?

There is the Woodlarks Café is open 09.00-16.45, Monday to Sunday. Toilets are located inside The Look Out Discovery Centre, which is open between 09.00-17.00, Monday to Sunday. Water refill fountain is available just outside of the café, free and open 24 hours. Looks of picnic benches are situated around the area too.

What else is there to do at Swinley Forest?

Lots! The Look Out Discovery Centre is a hands-on science centre. There is a Go Ape here - high wire adventure, zip lines and Segway tours. Coral Reef (two-minute walk) - a family swimming pool with slides and a pirate ship. There's also a large play park and lots of walking and den building fun to be had in the forest.

Where do I purchase the balls at Wild Rollers Bracknell?

The rollers are available from a vending machine inside the Wild Rollers hut. The hut is situated to the left of the entrance to the Look Out Centre.
